 Budiono started practicing law in 1986 and
joined SJD since 1988 and was made partner in 1997. Budiono has frequently
involved in law reform projects and invited by Indonesian private and
government organization to give courses for the improvement of officers
and lawyers capacities. He also teaches at the Parahyangan University in
Bandung. Budiono has advised major domestic and international clients. His
areas of expertises include among others investment projects, acquisition,
energy resources, mining, forestry and law reform. Budiono is board member
of the Indonesian-German Chamber of Commerce (EKONID), the AKHI, the IBA
and the IPBA. |

Indonesia, the AKHI, and the IPBA. Emir is also a honorary member of the
Association of Fellows and Legal Scholars of the Center
of International Legal Studies at Salzburg
